What to do in an emergency?

In urgent medical cases, we strive to provide our patients with quick and uncomplicated care during regular office hours. Please contact us by phone in case of an emergency at: 061 555 18 00

 

Outside of our office hours, please listen to the full message on our answering machine – it will provide you with current information on who to contact in case of an emergency.

Medical emergency service: For medical emergencies, you can reach the regional medical emergency service at: 061 261 15 15

 

Emergency departments: For acute conditions that require immediate evaluation or treatment, please go directly to the emergency department of a nearby hospital, such as Claraspital or University Hospital Basel. For musculoskeletal emergencies (e.g., orthopedic emergencies), Bethesda Hospital is also available daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

 

Life-threatening emergencies: In life-threatening situations, such as suspected stroke or heart attack, severe shortness of breath, or unconsciousness, please immediately call the emergency services at: 144
